The footwear came into quite late in the new kingdom which was made out of leather or papyrus fiber.

Wherein the women wore simple dresses called Kalasiris, the dresses were either one strap or two strapped which started under the breast the extended upon to the ankle, which meant the women were bare breasted, they usually draped a cloth that was line  around themselves.  People were keen in wearing jewelry in those times no matter of what their social status was. Both men and women wore brightly coloured earrings, bracelets, rings and neck collars, if people could not wear gold or precious jewels they used coloured beads. The people in those times also wore wigs which was a part of their costume per say the girl child had long hair and the boys shaved their head. Older men and women wore wigs and on special occasions they wore curled wigs. The Egyptian civilisation was quite rich and fertile in terms of costumes, makeup and lifestyle.
